Caracolito Hostal - Las Penitas

I recently stayed at a fantastic hostel called Caracolito for a few days while enjoying the beach in Nicaragua. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the sea. The spacious dorm was clean and fresh, with incredibly comfortable beds. The highlight was definitely the bathroom, which was the best I've ever seen in a hostel. The big kitchen had everything you could need and was available for everyone to use. The hosts were kind and welcoming, creating a great vibe and making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach atmosphere.

Couldn't recommend this hostel more.

I had an amazing experience at a hostel in Las Penitas. The staff were kind and helpful, providing me with all the information I needed for my first surf lesson. The hostel itself was clean and the beds were comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. There was a large communal area and a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for socializing and cooking meals. The location was unbeatable, right in front of a beautiful beach. I can confidently say that this hostel is the place to be for a fantastic stay in Las Penitas!

The hostel had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with plenty of places to chill out and socialize. The outdoor seating area was particularly nice, and the breakfast they served was delicious. The location was also convenient, just a short walk away from the beach. I loved the cool and unique design of the hostel, especially the beautiful bathrooms. I had a great time and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Las Penitas.

The rooms were a bit on the small side, and there weren't any hooks or hangers to properly store our clothing. Additionally, the fan in our room was quite dirty and we had to clean it ourselves.

This hidden gem in a tranquil beach town offers a variety of sports activities, such as yoga and boxing, perfect for active travelers. the delicious and affordable breakfast and other dishes prepared by the kitchen are a treat for backpackers. the friendly and helpful volunteers create a warm and family-like atmosphere, ideal for socializing. the outdoor seating area is a great place to relax and enjoy the vibe. a fantastic place for sun seekers and those looking to immerse themselves in a chilled and friendly environment.

There was also an amazing Italian restaurant nearby that served the best pizza and pasta. Cons: Nothing not to love 😊.
